Ranger Volunteer Fire Department recently received a state grant for some new equipment. These items include:
Turbo Draft Eductor
Multi-Gas Detector
PPE
The Turbo Draft is used to open up new water sources to help with water supply that previosuly could not be used. It part of our current goal of lowering our ISO rating. It is capable of creating flows up to 670 GPM. The multi gas detector can be used on many incidents from CO alarms to structure fires to determine the level of toxic and non-toxic gases in the atmosphere. New boots, helmets, and gloves were purchased as part of the grant to replace older worn out gear.
